- News

In the context of municipal heat planning, heat pumps and the associated electrification of the heat supply are becoming increasingly important, which poses new challenges for existing electricity distribution grids. This thesis aims to systematically analyze the current regulatory and legal framework for heating planning in conjunction with energy grid planning, identify existing regulatory gaps, and derive recommendations for action for municipal planning processes.
This project is suitable for students interested in energy law, energy economics, or municipal planning and can be completed as a bachelor’s or master’s thesis.
